Hi Alex, I’m sending you some photos of the apron project. I blew them up to fit a cherry board I had. It measures 6′ x 6”. I never sent them before because it’s not oak and I made it larger them yours. It’s the first time I’ve carved something like this.

I carved the table apron in poplar wood. The tools needed sharpening more often than when carving basswood. I made some last minute changes to the design just to see if I could. I am starting to see acanthus leaves every where even in the fire in my wood stove.

Hi Alex! The carving dining table apron project i did does not follow all your design. First i could not print the picture properly. Instead, i drew ( thats where the problems started. hahaha) it on wood. I hope the work i did is acceptable. I found it most challenging. I could not follow you properly because of the videos did not quite show the work you were doing at the time. 3/4 i stop and just watch your whole video presentation. It was then i saw the final result. I took a picture and did my best to copy what i already had. Thank you very much. Bless you and more power to you.
