Good evening Alex. Does each acanthus leaf follow the same pattern around the eye? Generally in your work a lobe has a S curve point then flanked with a V cut leaf and that is flanked on both sides with a rounded leaf part all in declining size to the eye. I know that each part of the pattern could be of a different size, length and shape. I was looking for a Gringling Gibbons work that has acanthus leaf but found nothing. I’m studying this while working on the Hashemi Flowers acanthus leaves.
Thanks
