I think the time ,thousand years ago when people carve something like this they didn’t have this many chisel???? I’m just thinking how did it.?!????

It all depends on location. In Nothern Europe, they had only one knife. Southern Europe (Italy, Greece) and west Asia (Persia, Siria, Osman empire) They had thousands of tools they designed and developed. It is impressive what they used for woodworking. I was studying ancient Egipt woodworking, and it is very advanced woodworking “machinery” they used.
