The swiss made #12 chip carving knife you have is it a different variation from the one pefiel has online? The reason i ask is because I ordered one and the blade is much longer than yours. This makes it hard to make some of these cuts controlled because i cant have my hand bracing the piece.

I broke the edge of my knife and reshaped it. But I also have a long one.

All i can see is… you use a lot number #7.

I have pfeil intermediate D#7 / 10 , D#7/14 and D#9/10…

palm chisel #5/3 , #5/6, #5/12, #8/7…

Pfeil knife same like yours..

If i am in a budget and afford to buy a limited pfeil chisel for some project like this or slightly bigger… what sweep and size do you suggest..?

Is my palm chisel suitable for a size of project like this or bigger..?

Thanks sir… 😁😁😁

Palm tools are absolutely fine for small or big projects. As far as other tools…. what can I say. More tools more You will be able to do.
