bottom layer is the base layer going all the way to the top. And a thicker piece was glued on top of it.
Well, I am finally starting to figure out your school of goodcarving.com instead of going on YouTube and watching it.
So far it is very very interesting.
When you are using your work sharp as I see you doing in the video what grit of emery cloth are you using? I have been thinking of using only 3000 unless the tools need to be re-shaped.
