thanks Alex, as usual you come up with great ideas on how to do things. I like the idea of fine grit sand paper for the inner bevel of my micro tools. It solved my problem with my 35 degree V tool. I bought a Worksharp when I joined your school several years ago. It sits on the end of my carving bench and is always in use. I never use my diamond stones any more.

I find with smaller chisels the edges crumble, what am i doing wrong?
