Do you have any demonstrations of your use of the Koch machine? Very interested in that.
Thanks!

I am planning to show how I use Koch. I don’t use it daily but it is a very good system.

Thank You Alexander. Looking forward to it. There seems to be some mystery to sharpening carving tools.

Sharpening is very important!

Hi Alex,
I finally got around to sharpening my v tool. this is the first time I’m sharpening it, and it looks like I already screwed up – I took away one of the corner edges. How can I fix this? Thanks!!

Could You email me a picture?I want to see what exactly going on. alexander@schoolofwoodcarving.com

I will in a few minutes – I really, really did a number on it. I kept trying to “fix” my mistakes and further damaged it. I will take a photo and send to you! Thank you so much!

Hi Alex! Wondering if you received my emails. I really appreciate your help with my huge mess

As an afterthought, perhaps I should buy some cheap v tools and get to honing my skills 😅

Cristine, I received your email. Instead of responding in writing, I believe it would be more beneficial to create a video. I will record a lesson where I address the common problem mentioned.
In couple words.
You could try to get your bevel on a keel first and work your wings ‘TO” the Keel.

I indeed wiped out my keel (and everything else) but i’ll give it a few more goes — REALLY looking forward to the new video! Thanks for trying to help.

I went ahead and bought a new v tool. I will continue trying to repair the one I really messed up.

Christine, I have just returned from overseas and today I recorded a video about a problem with a V-tool.
