Alex, very interesting statement on “true art”… I’m struggling with it my self. Do you have any English technical books on the subject?
I’ve discovered a very unsettling book, two months ago about why the figurative art loose so much territory in the second part of the 20st century, but it explains the political forces which were causing this move.

Sergio, unfortunately I could not find any good technical books in English or Russian on this subject. Most just a basic.
It is like the best kept secret!!!

Now-days art is not anymore, what it used to be. No rules, No Laws, No principles, No Math, No Geometry. No understanding of negative space vs positive.Today, art is just a Soul Medicine —- feel good (anti depressant -Prozac, Sarafem….).

Artists today don’t have any clue what is root 1, √2, 3,5.. , Saint Andrew Geometry in composition. And I am not talking how to apply it 3 dimensional composition. Not all Artist of course.
