Have you ever carved purple heart wood?

I carved purple heart years ago. Its gorgeous. its fairly hard (always my preference) and consistent. My personal problem with it was any sawdust it produced infected and inflamed my sinuses and made me sick. Not horribly sick but fairly sick for the entire day. I’m allergic.

What size blade are you using and what is the blade style called?

I see you answer that question on blades in the next segment. Thank you,

Alex can you give me a good recommendation for a scroll saw – I have a small quite cheap one and am looking to get a really good one. I live in the UK.

Best regards,

Lucy

I love Excalibur scroll saw, or You can check Pegas scroll saw. Those 2 the BEST. No vibration.
