What is the height of your work bench? What height do you have your carving project, in relationship to you? I did not see a rubber mat under your work project. I need one for comfort and to help prevent my tools from being damaged when I drop them. Do you all ways stand when you carve? You must have a very large tool roll to transport your tools. That looks like ultimate dream shop for a wood carver. It would be interesting to see a video tour of your of wood wood carving shop.

My bench is 39″ high. Carving project – about the same height +/- 6″. I am all about saving back. If your elbow is the same height as the top, it is the best.

Hi Alex,
The undercutting looks straight forward however I am a little vague about the finishing of the feed in to the bottom of the large volute. At the end of 20.4 we rounded off the final 2 berries but we didn’t look at the part where it keeps going to the bottom section of the large volute .
So I am a little unsure how far to take that section at this stage.
Thanks
Eric
