So happy to have joined your school. I studied for 5 days only with David Calvo in Mass. USA he is a master carver as well. I started carving with my father then got busy with life and stopped. Picked knife carving back up about 35 years ago. Wanted to learn carving with gouges so a few years ago I went to David’s school. I found myself in heaven for five days. I still carve with knives but now also with gouges, etc. I am looking forward to learning with you now. Thanks for setting up your school.
Very fascinating. I am so happy you left the USSR and are free in America. So many foolish young people today do not understand the evils of communism or socialism.
